Complex Credit Hire Fee EarnerA Credit Hire Fee Earner is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 100 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.My client is a national, award winning practice with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a Fee Earner/Paralegal to join their market leading, Defendant Credit Hire department. You will manage your own caseload of Multi Track, Defendant Credit Hire files from start to completion. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing credit hire claims, from initial instructions to final settlement. As a Credit Hire Fee Earner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring clients receive the compensation they deserve for vehicle-related claims. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to navigate complex legal procedures.Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of credit hire claims, from initial consultation to resolution.
  • Client Communication: Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, explaining legal processes and managing expectations.
  • Claim Investigation: Conduct comprehensive investigations into claims, gathering evidence, and coordinating with external experts as needed.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with insurers, opposing parties, and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Litigation: Draft legal documents, prepare cases for litigation, and represent clients in court proceedings when required.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to legal and regulatory standards, as well as the firm's internal policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other fee earners, paralegals, and legal assistants to maintain a high level of service.
Applications are invited from defendant or claimant fee earners or paralegals with a solid track record handling your own caseload of credit hire files. You will ideally have multi track experience, however we are happy to consider those with fast track experience who are wanting to progress to doing multi track work.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, forward thinking, and ambitious law firm with good opportunities for progression and development on offer.
