Revit is not new anymore, in fact it's not been new for a long time and yet I still hear Revit Technicians say they would rather the engineers didn't get too involved in it - sound familiar?

Engineers not being fully up to speed on Revit can make the job overly complicated and take twice as long. Here are some details about the company and the Revit MEP Technician role in Manchester:

• Projects are 40% Residential, 20% Data Centre and the other 40% is Variety which will include Healthcare and Industrial projects to name just two sectors
• You will be working on Detailed Design and As-Built Stages (RIBA Stage 4 & 5).
• You will set up project templates and sheets, do hands on coordination, run clash detections and fine tune projects which includes checking the engineers who design straight into Revit have done so correctly.
• Career pathways are visible so progression is inevitable.
• They are Manchester City Centre based with the added perk of the office being within walking distance of all four city centre train stations and close to tram stops too.
• The company have a sensible approach to Hybrid working that includes 3 days in the office and 2 at home with flexibility for those who require it.

They are not looking for a Revit expert. They are looking for a candidate who has a good working knowledge of the software and knows Building Services Engineering and can model services well.
