A global manufacturing company in Greater Manchester is seeking a Production Planner to join their established team.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to support the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager with key tasks including:
- You will be responsible for planning and raising orders.
- Dealing with any material issues that arise during the planning and production process.
- Responsible for ensuring that any replacement materials are managed efficiently.
- Assist in the planning of production, ensuring that a good quality service is provided and that all products meet the ISO 9001 standard.
The position is full time - Monday to Friday, 35 hour week. Flexible start and finish times are also on offer.
As well as salary this position comes with 4 x salary life assurance, 26 days holiday, match pension scheme and single medical health care.
To be considered for the position candidates will have proven experience in a Planning function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and experience using ERP/MRP systems. You will need excellent communication skills both verbally and written as well as proficient IT skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook). A formal technical or business qualification would be an advantage.
