Health & Safety Manager

Hays Health & Safety are delighted to be working alongside this specialist Construction business, to support the recruitment of a H&S Manager to join their team

Reporting directly into the Senior Leadership team, you will have complete responsibility for the Health & Safety strategy of the business and to drive a culture of safe working practices across the organisation.

This is an incredibly exciting position, and will be joining a growing business, in a growing specialist industryYou will have experience of working with a Principal / Main Contractor and will have a strong Construction background and experience of CDMYour primary function will be to continue to drive the company's Health & Safety, and also Environmental procedures across the business, but your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all H&S and Environmental management systems are up-to-date and maintained
• Support the business with all HS&E procedures
• Ensuring the business complies with CDM regs
• Monitor and review H&S policies
• Manage any H&S training needs and deliver specific training
• Manage all Stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership team, and Operations externally on site
• Carry out operational site visits, and support with site audits
