Solutions Architect (Applications)
6 Month Contract role
Rate: £675 per day
Location: Manchester & remote (hybrid working - two days per week on site in Manchester)
IR35 Status: Inside
Start: ASAP
We require a Solutions Architect (Applications) for our higher education client to work on specific "Student Experience Progamme"
The architecture team sets standards, creates strategies, guides and assures new and existing solutions within the organisation and you will help support activities within the Student Experience Programme
You will work alongside the other members of the project teams, helping to define new solutions and ensuring that any developments are carried out within the standards of the organisation
Responsibilities include:
Creation of design documents for new applications and solutions
Ensuring that all designs are created in line with the Clients standards and policies.
Presenting designs to fellow architects, the Technical Design Authority (TDA) and other forums for review.
Creating options papers and similar documents
Guiding the project teams on technical issues
Liaising with technical teams to ensure a successful outcome
Essential skills & experience required
As the Solutions Architect (Applications) you will possess the following:
* Strong technical skills, particularly around applications - essential
Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams which includes: Project Managers Business Analysts, Domain Architect and Development teams
Experience of managing and negotiating with senior stakeholders in different areas.
Experience of maximising assets by re-utilising and re-purposing application stacks.
Experience of working with building solutions using the M365 suite including SharePoint and Teams alongside Power Automate and Power apps
Good time management and planning skills
