Senior Designer - Packaging

This Agency are experts in packaging and branding strategy and design, offering an extensive global service across all areas of brand and retail communications. They work with some fantastic retail/FMCG clients and are looking for a Senior Packaging Designer to join their UK team, based in Manchester. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office in central Manchester.If you love sketching out ideas and following them through to fruition this could be a great opportunity for you.What you’ll do:You’ll fully understand the agency process, leading this and best practice, supporting the more junior team members.You’ll understand and grasp the clients’ requirements to ensure you deliver creative and crafted solutions across various brand and packaging projects. You’ll liaise with the photographers and art directors and will support the creative account handlers in presenting concepts.You’ll lead on projects from concepts through to completion and will liaise with the production team to ensure they have everything in hand for best printing resultsWhat we’re looking for:This is a senior level design role so we’re looking for someone who already has experience within a brand/packaging agency backgroundIt goes without saying you’ll have a portfolio that will impress! We are looking for someone ideally with strong packaging, food and retail experience in particular food art direction, an ability to present internally to the Creative and Client-side teams.You’ll be up to date with trends, techniques, and processes across various touchpoints or mediums including packaging, in-store, online, mobile and print.
