The Company:

An excellent opportunity for a New Product Developer to join a fast growing, successful, FMCG company who supply both private label and branded products to highly successful leading retailers worldwide. This is a really exciting role working directly with the Creative Director in a fast growing, fashion forward company. A passion for cosmetics/beauty would be ideal.

The role would suit someone who is product focused to assist with product development and who has ideally worked in the supply chain industry, liaising with factories and delivering excellent customer service supporting Retail Buyers in various National organisations. Excellent prospects for bright, hardworking and career minded candidates working for a highly respected and dynamic company

The Role:

Monitoring trends and colour within beauty industry.

Monitoring social trends

Monitoring social media influencers

Monitoring product launches in the market

Will have access to top trend resources as a tool to gather and monitor all trends.

Preparing creative director and creative team for meetings and presentations too customers.

Assisting CD in her day to day roles and keeping her organised.

Liaising with our China office to source new products and or components

Setting up/building some costs. This can be taught once in the role but needs to have a good understanding of excel.

Must be able to put together mood boards

Collating information and presenting to creative director

Sample management and organisation and general admin tasks.

Skills Required:

Ideally 1/2 year plus experience in a similar role or a merchandiser role

Previous experience liaising with and building relationships with customers.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.

Strong IT skills and Excel skills.

Strong interest in fashion and make up.

Attention to detail.

Knowledge of supply chain / critical paths
