Your new companyBased in Manchester, this business-to-business solutions provider has an established client base in the UK and is part of a wider international group. The legal department is looking for a talented and ambitious law graduate or equivalent who wants to develop their commercial law and compliance experience with a UK-based business.Your new role You will join a small legal department gaining exposure to commercial agreements and compliance matters. Your duties will include assisting on a wide range of tasks from drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, developing policy documents, legal research, as well as working closely with the business on legal projects and providing advice.What you'll need to succeedYou must have a strong appreciation for contract law with a good legal understanding, either from previous paralegal / legal assistant experience or from your law degree / LPC / GDL studies. You will have excellent academics and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.What you'll get in returnIn return, you can expect to find a supportive and well-structured working environment with a challenging and unique set of tasks. You will be offered a starting salary between £25,000 and £30,000 depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
