Traffic Manager - Agency - Manchester CC (Hybrid) - £36k + bonus

As a Traffic Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of projects and maximising efficiency across the agency.

As their Traffic Manager, you'll be the engine behind their project management efforts, coordinating workflows and deadlines to deliver exceptional results.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing project workflow using our project management platform, Teamwork, to ensure efficient traffic management and avoid project backlogs.
  • Proactively planning agency and freelance partner capacity to meet client retainer deadlines.
  • Supporting departmental managers with briefing and proofing of work, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Administering project tasks, managing communication between clients and the internal team, and briefing in amendments.
  • Playing a key role in implementing new processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Overseeing workflow and maintaining a bird's eye view of the agency's workload, routing work to keep departments balanced and the team running smoothly.
  • Assisting clients in submitting necessary project information and assigning appropriate resources.
  • Reviewing timelines and schedule changes with departmental managers, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Monitoring tracked time and utilisation rates to optimise resource allocation.
  • Holding daily and weekly internal project status meetings to share progress and updates with the team.
