With decades of success and a reputation for delivering excellence across the UK and internationally, they’re now looking for a Transport-savvy Operations Controller to join their growing Manchester branch.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Take charge of day-to-day operational activity across vehicles, crews, and schedules.
- Ensure all jobs are executed efficiently and in line with service expectations.
- Maximise the utilisation of fleet and staff, working closely with sales/admin teams.
- Maintain strict compliance with transport legislation and H&S guidelines.
- Keep vehicle and driver records up to date and audit ready.
- Proactively resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
- Lead, develop, and motivate your crew teams to deliver with pride and professionalism.
- Help drive performance and profitability in partnership with the Branch Manager.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A strong background in transport, logistics or fleet operations.
- Solid understanding of transport legislation, fleet compliance, and maintenance processes.
- Confident leading operational teams and managing time-sensitive workflows.
- Organised, proactive, and commercially aware.
- Good with systems, Excel, and the day-to-day admin side of running transport ops.
- Previous removals experience is a bonus — but not essential. Full industry training will be given.
