Metalis is working in partnership with a specialist manufacturing company who are looking to hire a Maintenance Manager on a permanent contract within their chemical plant in Manchester.

Job Duties:* Managing all maintenance activities such as Predictive/Preventive, Corrective Maintenance, Modification Projects & Facility maintenance involving various engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation* Leading the maintenance team to deliver plant reliability and make sure there is safe working environment in the plant* Identify and drive need based development plan for the maintenance team* Drive plant predictive/preventive maintenance planning* To ensure all maintenance information (e.g. equipment history records and fault reports) is accurately and promptly updated and maintained in SAP as well as in other formats* To oversee projects / maintenance works and liaise with contractors to ensure work is carried out safely, smoothly and according to schedule* To review design, replace and install new equipment according to spare parts availability for obsoleted spares

Job Requirements:* Degree in Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of working experience* Candidates from chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical manufacturing are highly preferred* Strong computer / IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, IT-Network, Telecommunication, etc.)* Candidate should possess strong leadership qualities and analytical skills* Ability to work independently or as part of a team* Good accuracy and attention to detail

Salary & Shift:* 40 hour working week* Days only shifts* Flexible working hours, 8 hours per day* £50,000 - £60,000 Per annum depending on experience
