Central Employment are working in partnership with a leading and multi-award winning Consumer PR, Social Media and Influencer Marketing agency, based in central Manchester.  Due to win client win's, they are seeking a Social Media and Content Specialist.   As a Social Media & Content Specialist, you will play a key role in executing engaging content strategies for a range of Consumer clients across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, X and Instagram. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce captivating content for our clients social media channels. Create engaging video and statics that resonate with their target audience and drive user engagement and growth. Lead daily reactive and monthly content ideation for our clients, ensuring they are in line with the strategy and current best practices
  • Conceptualise, script, film, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, ensuring consistency with the brands voice and messaging. Utilise creative storytelling and the latest social media editing techniques to create thumb-stopping content that hooks the viewer.
  • Exhibit excellent attention-to-detail when delivering and reviewing social assets and copy
  • Develop comprehensive content calendars and strategies tailored to each platform's audience and algorithm. Stay informed about emerging trends, viral content, and best practices in social media and video marketing to inform content strategy
  •  Weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting for all clients - analysing community data to summarise key learnings and strategic recommendations for future strategy. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role with a focus on video content creation and social media management.
  • Strong proficiency in video production, editing, and storytelling, with experience using editing software such as social native editing tools (TikTok capcut, Reels editor), Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing engaging content that resonates with target audiences and drives user engagement and growth.
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, especially TikTok and Instagram.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling and effective copy for various formats and channels.
  • Experience with influencer marketing, brand collaborations, and content partnerships is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimisation techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Digital Media, or related field is preferred but not necessary.
