Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a large E-Liquid manufacturer based in Salford. They are looking for a Regulatory affairs officer on a permanent basis to assist the team on a worldwide basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and follow up on the latest regulations in the e-liquid manufacturing sector worldwide.
  • Communicate with the R&D team about upcoming new product releases and arrange documentation and packaging requirements for each product.

Responsibilities:

  • classification of hazardous substances
  • studying scientific and legal documents
  • gathering, evaluating, organising, managing and collating information in a variety of formats
  • ensuring compliance with regulations set by MHRA, TPD, Trading standards and other relevant
  • maintaining familiarity with company product ranges
  • planning, undertaking and overseeing product trials and regulatory inspections
  • keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines
  • analysing complicated information
  • offering advice about company policies, practices and systems
  • obtaining marketing permission, including Trademarks worldwide
  • outlining requirements for labelling, storage and packaging
  • using a variety of specialist computer applications
  • liaising and negotiating with regulatory authorities
  • providing advice about regulations to manufacturers/scientists
  • writing comprehensible, user-friendly, clear product information leaflets and labels
  • ensuring that quality standards are met and submissions meet strict deadlines
  • preparing documentation such as SDS, CAS, CLP

Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Educated to a degree or equivalent level ideally within a science
  • Self-driven, the action-oriented mindset with a positive "can do" outlook
  • Educated to a degree or equivalent level ideally within the sciences
  • Good understanding of global regulatory requirements
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience within the industry.
  • Previous experience in e-liquid manufacturing would be a distinct advantage
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Variety of work experience a plus

Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00

Salary starting at £30,000pa
