Graduate Chemist - Entry level/graduate

North Manchester

Salary - 24,000

Hours - 35 hours per week with flexible start, finish and lunchbreak

SRG is working with a large polymers manufacturing business business in the North Manchester area who have recently had a vacancy arise on their quality team. This role would suit someone with a degree of equivalent industrial experience who is looking to develop skills in the polymers industry. Applications are encouraged from graduates although a degree is not essential.

Role Description

  • Physical property testing in the lab
  • Resolving quality issues with customers who use company products
  • Quality control (QC) of manufactured polymer products
  • Ensuring compliance and adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Producing quality reports of product batches

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry or equivalent industrial experience
  • Exceptional work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of chemical testing techniques
  • Able to commute to North Manchester daily
  • Full right to work in the UK
