Is a leading employer in the Greater Manchester area with multiple sites across the UK who offer their service to millions of customers each year. They are undergoing a large transformation programme that is one of the largest in the UK and includes a variety of unique technology projects.

 

Your Role:

As the Infrastructure Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end infrastructure product area for our client. You will work with various business functions to identify current infrastructure constraints and develop strategies to mitigate these.

This role can offer hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to work from home for half of your week.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects to identify best fit solutions in terms of reliability, scalability, security, and costs.
  • Co-ordinate teams so they are meeting the roadmap and the infrastructure visons and direction throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Firsthand delivery covering datacentres, large fibre estates, connectivity, and security products.
  • Direct line management for a team of up to eight.

 

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive experience as a Product Manager within large, multisite, physical IT infrastructure estates.
  • Developed infrastructure environments that have improved service, reduced costs, and gained long term performance benefits.
  • Collaborated with stakeholders from all levels of an organisation to gain detailed business requirements and communicated technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Managed, coached, and developed technology teams. Fostered a culture of learning and self-development and implemented best working practises.
