Morson are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as Senior Project Manager to join a family-owned civil engineering and utility services group to work on several framework contracts within the Utility sector, Local Authorities, and key infrastructure clients. The role is based in Manchester and offering a competitive salary and package.

Skills and experience:
• Experience in wastewater/excavation/groundworks/concreting/drainage
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a site supervisory role
• HNC/HND/Degree qualification in construction-related studies
• Minimum Gold Card CSCS accreditation
• SMSTS 5-day accreditation
• Minimum 3-day first aid accreditation
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation
• NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D accreditation
• SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)
• Good working knowledge of the construction industry and of all relevant trade disciplines
• Good understanding of the CDM regulations
• Good understanding of NEC Form of Contracts

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading a team of internal colleagues and external specialist subcontractors
• Developing and delivering a portfolio of highway and structures projects within framework
• Ownership of entire project through to the end with full commitment and a relentless drive to succeed.
• Managing site staff performance to achieve the project goals and productivity.
• Providing health and safety leadership to the operational delivery teams and promoting behavioural safety improvements
• Complying with all relevant HSE legislation
