A highly reputable and industrious consultancy, known for its exceptional project delivery and client-focused approach, is seeking a proficient Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Manchester.

This consultancy services a diverse client base in both the private and public sectors, managing projects from initial concept through to completion and operation.

The Construction Project Manager Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be integral to the consultancy's success, managing complex projects across Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong ability to handle large-scale projects, commonly referred to as "large sheds" in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects across various stages of the development cycle, including inception, design, delivery, completion, handover, and operation.
  • Manage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules and progress reports.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

The Construction Project Manager

  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager, particularly in Residential, Commercial, or Industrial sectors within a Consultancy.
  • A strong portfolio of managed projects, particularly with large industrial units or "large sheds."
  • Relevant educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIOB, RICS, or equivalent are preferable.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
