My client are a global leading sub contractor who pride themselves on revolutionising office spaces with their cutting-edge glass partitioning systems and solutions. From sleek designs to eco-conscious materials, they redefine the modern workplace experience.

As a result of their ongoing growth, they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Manchester.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will assume the responsibility of overseeing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring their timely completion while achieving favourable financial outcomes.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Receiving handovers from the Estimating department to collect all cost information and quotations utilised in the tender process.
  • Conducting reconciliation for Tender Cost Value and generating tender CVR reports.
  • Initialising financial files for individual projects.
  • Coordinating with clients to establish valuation dates.
  • Assessing and valuing all variations, then submitting valuations to clients
  • Performing cost value reconciliations.
  • Handling submission and negotiation of final accounts.
  • Coordinating orders with Sub-contractors.
  • Providing instructions to Sub-contractors for variations.
  • Participating in Sub-contractor meetings.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying or related field.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
