As a result of their ongoing growth, they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Manchester.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will assume the responsibility of overseeing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring their timely completion while achieving favourable financial outcomes.
Responsibilities to include:
- Receiving handovers from the Estimating department to collect all cost information and quotations utilised in the tender process.
- Conducting reconciliation for Tender Cost Value and generating tender CVR reports.
- Initialising financial files for individual projects.
- Coordinating with clients to establish valuation dates.
- Assessing and valuing all variations, then submitting valuations to clients
- Performing cost value reconciliations.
- Handling submission and negotiation of final accounts.
- Coordinating orders with Sub-contractors.
- Providing instructions to Sub-contractors for variations.
- Participating in Sub-contractor meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or related field.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
