Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join a market leading, global engineering manufacturer.

The successful Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in managing key accounts and driving business growth in the North West UK market, including Manchester, Liverpool, and surrounding areas, within the compressed air sector via end user channels.

The Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will ideally have a proven track record in selling or managing accounts within electrical and / or mechanical engineering, production or manufacturing. This includes experience with products such as compressors, pumps, valves, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers, nitrogen generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, capital equipment, rotating equipment, MRO products, or similar services.

Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Role
Managing a portfolio of key accounts through end-user channels in the compressed air sector, including compressors, dryers, blowers, filtration systems, and other related products.
Develop new business opportunities within the compressed air industry across the North West - Manchester, Liverpool, and surrounding areas.
Discuss, negotiate, and finalisecompressed air proposals with customers.
Maintaining new sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Fully remote with regular travel across the designated regions.

Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements
Experience in key account management, sales, or related roles in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, production, or manufacturing.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable global company.
Sales experience in a wide range of mechanical engineering equipment is advantageous, covering compressors, pumps, valves, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers, nitrogen generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, capital equipment, rotating equipment, MRO and more.
Full sales training provided, making it suitable for Compressor Service Engineers transitioning into sales roles.
A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be beneficial.
Full clean driving license.
