Signage Account Manager

Salary: 27-40k DOE

Location: Manchester.

My client is looking for an Account Manager with a wealth of experience within the signage or print industry and a can-do attitude to join one of the UK's leading customer focused print and signage providers.

About the role:

Within this role, you are expected to provide a comprehensive client service, this includes but is not restricted to discussing / agreeing client briefs and specifications to provide accurate and timely estimates and quotations. To liaise with the client following quotation and, where successful, convert to order, preparing work tickets and ensuring accurate information is passed to the production teams.

Account Manager Key responsibilities and duties:

  • To liaise with customers following request for quotation, gain feedback on the success of the quote.
  • To liaise with customers following receipt of order to ensure all information is accurately recorded and is in accordance with the quotation and that order numbers, artworks and delivery dates are agreed.
  • To liaise with Sales and Production to ensure the correct information is forwarded and agreed, liaising with customers any queries and follow all correct admin procedures to ensure the accurate and timely production of job.
  • To monitor customer activity against a given list of allocated accounts, ensuring that appropriate contact with customers, is made. As reflected by their value to the business.

Account Manager Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience within the sign or print industry is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work with changing timescales, priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong "can do" attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with the use of spreadsheets.
  • Worked within a similar service role.
  • Ability to "self-start" and work on own initiative.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience within a print environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • An ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Experience of MIS estimating processes.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, by telephone and face to face.
