We are looking for Senior Support Workers with experience working with challenging adults. You must have experience with challenging behaviour and intervention.
Provide care for service users through:
- Motivate service users to access the local community and take part in activities that would have a positive impact on their life.
- To be able to commit to an assignment, to ensure structure and stability for our service users.
- Ensuring that each service user's care plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their changing needs.
- Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural, and educational needs of service user
- Providing emotional support at times of difficulty or stress
Person Specification:
- Must have experience working with challenging adults
- Must have experience with challenging behaviours and intervention
- Awareness of safeguarding issues and ability to safeguard the welfare of service users.
- Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in a care sector in the UK
- Right to work in the UK
- An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service – Should you need to apply for a new DBS we can support you with this.
- Reference information covering the last 5Â years of your work history.
