Description

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing tenant queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and manage maintenance and repair works as necessary.
  • Liaise effectively with various stakeholders including local authorities, contractors, and residents.
  • Support the development and implementation of housing strategies and policies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of housing services by identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to the overall success of the Property department.

Profile

A successful Housing Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of housing regulations and laws.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in using housing management systems.
