Description
- Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing tenant queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular property inspections and manage maintenance and repair works as necessary.
- Liaise effectively with various stakeholders including local authorities, contractors, and residents.
- Support the development and implementation of housing strategies and policies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of housing services by identifying and implementing best practices.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to the overall success of the Property department.
Profile
A successful Housing Officer should have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Not for Profit and Charities sector.
- Strong knowledge of housing regulations and laws.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Proficiency in using housing management systems.
