Responsibilities:

  • Manage Complex Caseloads: Skillfully navigate complex cases to ensure the best outcomes for individuals.
  • Support Adults with Learning Disabilities: Provide professional social work services to adults, with a focus on promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Advocate for Choice and Control: Empower individuals to make informed decisions and maintain control over their lives.
  • Demonstrate Expertise: Develop expertise in specific areas of social work practice and serve as a reliable source of knowledge and advice for peers.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare, ensuring the protection of vulnerable adults.

Requirements:

  • Social Worker England Registered: Hold registration with Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS: Possess an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Social Work Degree: Hold a degree in Social Work.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with adults, particularly those with learning disabilities.
