This Locum Senior Social Worker opportunity in the Central Greater Manchester area offers an exciting chance for an experienced social worker to make a significant impact in the Learning Disability team.

Responsibilities:

  • Duty Function Support: Overseeing incoming duty work, ensuring smooth operations and timely responses.
  • Advisory Role: Providing case advice and guidance, particularly to newly qualified social workers.
  • Intervention Support: Assisting social work interventions for individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
  • Case Management: Managing a small, complex caseload, ensuring adherence to legal frameworks

To be considered for the Senior Social Worker role, ideally you will have:

  • Minimum of 2+ years working with learning disabilities and other co-occurring needs.
  • Diploma/Degree in Social Work.
  • Must be registered with Social Work England.
