Java Developer

Our client based in Manchester is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join an expanding team. 

You'll drive the migration of their core applications to Java Spring with React UIs. Ideal candidates have Telecomms or ecommerce experience, expert Java skills, and excel in software design and communication.

• Develop server-side applications and Restful APIs.
• Migrate core apps to Java Spring with React UIs.
• Create Automated testing suites.
• Conduct technical research and write specifications.

• Commercial Java 11+ experience.
• Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging protocols.
•  Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.

Desirable Skills: 

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Perl frameworks and caching implementations.
• Understanding of Linux, Maven, and ActiveMQ.
