We are recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in North Manchester, M8 with an immediate start!

Milk Education are working with a Primary School in M8 who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with a child who needs support with their speech and language and to help build their confidence.

This Teaching Assistant job is full-time and will commence as soon as possible. You will be given training to help support the children and will be based in the classroom full-time. The child has no behavioural issue.

The role of a SEND Teaching Assistant is to work with a child on a one-to-one basis or support them within small or whole class groups, acting as a listener, encourager, motivator, and role model.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Be able to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Work within a classroom with a SEN child on a 1-2-1 basis
  • To help in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources including adjusting in classroom layout
  • Be passionate about achievement for every child and committed to ongoing professional learning.

Non-negotiables:

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Have experience of working with SEN / additional needs and/or similar setting
  • Offer drive, kindness, enthusiasm, imagination, and commitment.
