Contract: Day-to-day with potential to move into full-time in a high complexity SEN school
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a long term role in a SEN setting. This position will suit someone experienced with additional needs and looking to secure a longer-term, full-time role.
What the Sen Teaching Assistant role involves:
- Providing personalised support to pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs
- Assisting with communication and sensory programmes
- Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support
- Supporting pupils to develop independence
Requirements for this Sen Teaching Assistant role:
- Experience working in SEN environments
- Patience, resilience and a calm demeanour
- Ability to build rapport and adapt quickly
