Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Manchester from January 2025.

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs?

Do you have experience working in education and enjoy making a difference in children's lives?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

*Support children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) both in the classroom and during outdoor activities
*Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and supporting students' individual learning plans
*Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
*Support students with personal care where necessary and help them develop their social skills
*Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents when required

About You:

*Experience working with children or in a similar role, ideally within an SEN setting
*A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A proactive attitude and the ability to think on your feet
*Relevant qualifications in education or SEN (desirable but not essential)
