  • My client, a successful partyware wholesaler, is looking for a Product Category Manager to join their busy Supply Chain department. You will be responsible for defining and delivery the product strategy and delivery, whilst taking overall responsibility for the delivery of the commercial product ranges.

My client, a successful partyware wholesaler, is looking for a Product Category Manager to join their busy Supply Chain department. You will be responsible for defining and delivery the product strategy and delivery, whilst taking overall responsibility for the delivery of the commercial product ranges. Key duties include: - Range management: Selecting and building seasonal and in-stock product ranges, monitor sales performances of product, research new products and attend events to keep on top of trends - Buying/Sourcing: Review and negotiate existing agreements, assess tenders, liaise with purchasing team - Pricing: Collaborate with the BI team to define budget, sales and margin targets and to analyse trends - Vendors/Suppliers: build and maintain strong relationships, negotiate best commercial terms, research new suppliers - People Management: develop and coach your team, ensure targets are met, performance reviews etc The ideal candidate will: - Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Be commercially astute - Be logical and numerically literate - Have strong influencing and negotiation skills - Be highly focused If this sounds like the role for you, please apply for immediate consideration or send a copy of your CV to
