Business Travel Consultant

Business Travel Consultant - WFH - up to £40k basic + performance bonus

Our client a leading independent Travel Management company with Worldwide offices are looking for a Business Travel Consultant to work to join their Entertainment division looking after a variety of music tours & media productions

Business Travel Consultant main tasks & responsibilities;

• Ensure that all business travel bookings are dealt with accurately and efficiently.
• Booking flights to worldwide destinations using a GDS (Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus). This may involve the booking of nett fares, large groups and planning complex itineraries.
• Booking hotels and overland transport (rail, car hire).
• Providing advice on visa requirements and arranging visas as appropriate.
• Take ownership and responsibility for all client queries handled until successfully concluded.
• Ensure that all fare rules, regulations and conditions are given correctly with a full explanation.
• Ensure that valid alternatives are offered to all clients.
• Respond to and perform re-issues and recalculations in accordance with clients changing needs.
• Ensure that full support is given to the key preferred suppliers.

• Ensure that agreed service levels are maintained and any problems are reported to your line manager in a timely fashion.

Business Travel Consultant Skills & Experience required;

• Extensive Business Travel Experience (Entertainment or Tours experience an advantage)
• Working knowledge of Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo
• Worldwide destination knowledge
• First class Customer Service
