Job Role: Pipefitter/Stick/ARC WelderLocation: ManchesterShift: Days OnlySalary: £16.00ph
Metalis is working in partnership with a market leading supplier of bespoke prefabricated steel and mechanical products in Oldham who are looking to hire a Skilled Pipefitter/Welder on a permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Stainless steel and mild steel pipe work
- Performing stick/ARC welding
- Performing pipe rolling / welding
- Fabrication of pipework and pipework assemblies
- Factory based
Job Requirements:
- Ideally apprentice trained or time served Stick Welder
- Must have experience with within a high tolerance engineering environment, ideally with pipework
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- Days Only
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm
- £16.00ph (to increase with skillset)
- Overtime available
