Finance Manager -  Mansfield -  Full-time, Permanent - £40,000 - £45,000Are you a Finance Manager looking for your next opportunity at a business that makes a difference? 

Here's an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established business dedicated to supporting families and communities across the Midlands area as their new Finance Manager. Based at the company's Mansfield head office, with some irregular travel across the East Midlands.

As the Finance Manager, you'll lead a small finance team responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Your primary duties will include producing monthly management accounts, P&Ls, and other financial reports to support the Head of Finance and the wider senior leadership team. You will also be involved in supporting the wider non-finance stakeholders and occasionally travel to meet with them and provide support and insight on budgets and expenses, This travel will all be in the East Midlands and be a few times a year and sometimes less. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Oversight of reconciliation processes for P&L and balance sheets
  • Management of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control teams to ensure seamless operation
  • Direct responsibility for managing monthly payroll

About You:

To thrive in this role, you should be either CIMA or ACCA-qualified, possess strong management accounting skills, have payroll experience, and ideally, experience in leading a small team. You'll be someone who values continuous improvement and enjoys contributing value to a people-centric business.

Requirements:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualification, or extensive experience in a finance management role
  • Proficiency in payroll processes
  • Strong management accounting skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle
