Transport Planner - Southampton - 38k
You will be joining an independent specialist haulage company that are experts in all they do.
Working with a team of planners, you will learn and develop new skills, becoming an expert yourself.
To be successful you will need route planning experience from within a general haulage business.
Package:
- 35,000 - 38,000 (DOE)
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Monday - Friday
- Flexible Working
- Private Health care plan
Role:
- Transport Planner will be routing company vehicles UK wide
- You will be planning for dedicated loads, General Haulage & Abnormal loads
- It is essential that you ensure full compliance with all legislation
- Transport planner is expected to work with a team and liaise as needed
- All drivers must be fully briefed and de-briefed with tacho analysis
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position: Transport Planner, Traffic Planner, Logistics Coordinator, Transport Analyst
- General Haulage / Heavy Haulage background
- Must be able to plan vehicle routes
- Previous use of Haultech beneficial
- Excellent work ethic / attitude
