Production Operative
Margate, Full-timeÂ
Salary - £12.21 per hour
Temporary to permanent
Shifts: 5am-3pm or 1pm-11pmÂ
Our client, a food manufacturer, is looking to recruit Production Operatives on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities for the role of Production Operative
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring consistency in food preparation
- Operate and monitor machinery such as mixers, ovens, and conveyor belts to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Manually or using machines to shape products into specified forms
- Load the products into ovens and monitor cooking times and temperatures, ensuring products are cooked to perfection
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards in terms of size, shape, and appearance
- Clean equipment and work areas to maintain hygiene standards and perform basic maintenance on machinery
 Person specification for the role of Production Operative
- You will have experience in a production, warehouse or manufacturing environment
- You will have good attention to detail
- Able to follow strict health and safety procedures
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to hit production targets in a fast-paced environment
