Head Housekeeper
Location - Margate, Kent
Up to £30,000 Per Annum Dependent on Experience
Hours - 40 hours per week

Do you have previous experience providing leadership within a Housekeeping capacity?
Our client, a beautiful venue in Thanet, is looking to expand their team with a Head Housekeeper to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be working 40 hours per week, 8am-4pm, including weekends.
As the Head Housekeeper, you will…
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
- Recruit and train new staff members
- Produce staff rotas
- Ensure holidays and sickness are covered
- Regularly monitor and review staff performance
- Handle employee disciplinary matters
- Investigates concerns regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action
- Provide leadership, support, and motivation to the housekeeping team
- Accommodate any other reasonable requests as directed by the General Manager
Person Specification:
- Must have previous experience in Housekeeping
- Experience within a Housekeeping Supervisor/Head Housekeeper role is desirable
- Proficient in utilising Microsoft Office packages
- Must have adept problem-solving abilities
- Ability to promptly manage crises and conflicts
- Flexibility to cover shifts as and when required to support the team, including weekends
