Diamond Search Recruitment is delighted to represent our client, a progressive firm based in north Lincolnshire. They recently opened a new position for a motivated Sales & Estimating person to join their busy and expanding team. They seek candidates with strong B2B sales experience.

Hours: Monday - Friday, no weekends

Overview:We are seeking someone to join our Sales and Estimation team working within the steel-framed building industry. In this role, you will analyse project requirements, evaluate costs, and provide accurate estimates for construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to contribute to our company's success and process merchanting sales for new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes- Conduct thorough cost analysis of materials, labour, and equipment costs- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for labour, materials, subcontractors, and other project expenses- Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner- Maintain accurate records of estimates, including any revisions or changes made throughout the bidding process- Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors- Proficient processing of material & merchant sales for new & existing customers.

Requirements:- Full UK driving Licence essential- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Proven experience as an Estimator in the steel construction industry- Strong knowledge of steel construction methods, materials, and costs- Proficient in using computer Excel spreadsheets & estimating tools- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills- Attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret project plans and specifications- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders

Note: Salary is negotiable, subject to experience and ability.
