Our client, who provide compliance support to a range of firms all over the UK, is looking for a Graduate Accountant to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service and support to clients preparing and assisting with their Financial Regulatory Returns.

This role would suit a graduate with a keen interest in finance or accounting who is happy to work independently, with a desire to grow and develop and take further qualifications (ACCA) to become an Accountant.

This is a fully remote working role with one day per quarter at the West London office. Study support could be offered.

£26k rising to £30k plus after 12 months. Excellent benefits plus study support.

Role Responsibilities

  • Delivery of consultancy services and fielding enquiries via phone & email
  • Preparation of financial regulatory returns using MS Excel and other data-handling packages
  • Completion of timely regulatory filings to FCA, SEC and other national regulators
  • Ability to work limited evening & weekend hours during busy periods (typically two weeks per quarter)

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
  • Strong experience of working with MS Office software packages such as Outlook & Excel
  • Ability to deliver reporting timetables to a deadline is part and parcel for the role
  • Strong attention to detail
