Elevation Recruitment Group are currently collaborating with a leading provider of innovative manufacturing solutions. Our client’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives them to seek talented Manufacturing Engineers to join their dynamic team.

As a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in CNC manufacturing you will optimize the production processes and have a key focus on process improvement, quality enhancement, and efficiency maximization.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology in a collaborative and demanding environment.

Duties & Responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer will include:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address manufacturing discrepancies.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and execute experiments to validate process changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process control plans.
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure compliance with established processes and standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CNC machining technology to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, highly desired.
  • Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline and 5 years firsthand experience.
  • Six Sigma – Green belt qualification.
  • Background in a manufacturing, metals, machining, process engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters optimization.
  • Experienced utilising lean manufacturing techniques and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and CNC programming.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Meticulous with a commitment to quality and process excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
