My client is a leading logistics specialist in 2 man delivery services across niche sectors such as vending, medical equipment, and IT equipment. They pride themselves on their high-quality service and their ability to provide efficient and reliable transport solutions to their clients. Aspion are leading the search for a Business Development Manager to join their team and help them grow their client base through proactive business development methods.

Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and winning new business clients through proactive business development methods. You will be required to build relationships with potential clients and develop a deep understanding of their transport requirements. Your focus will be on generating new business revenue and contributing to the growth of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive business development methods.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services and their benefits to potential clients.
  • Build relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers.
  • Present our services to potential clients and demonstrate how they can benefit from our 2 man delivery services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients.
  • Work closely with our operations team to ensure that we deliver our services to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

  • A new business hunter who is money motivated and tenacious.
  • Any previous experience of selling transport or logistics services is desirable notably experience in same-day, next-day delivery, pallet network or 2 man transport
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Full driving license.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £40k
  • Car or car allowance
  • Uncapped commission structure 
  • Remote working, anywhere in the UK.
