Job Title: Structural Engineer

Salary: 60k + Car allowance

Overview:
We have an opportunity for a Structural engineer from a precast concrete environment to join our clients team. You will bring design and detailing experience in reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete. You will be responsible for solving design queries for and implement standard solutions to accelerate the creation of workshop drawings while ensuring quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform strut and tie structural analysis to asses/design/justify detailing decisions to produce beams.
- Assist subcontractor in the production of workshop drawings, and in the implementation of standard solutions. This will include collecting and solving design queries during the production of workshop drawings to ensure meeting deadlines.
- Manage the revision/comment rounds between inhouse teams and the Client's/Designer's team.
- Coordinate activities with Precast Technicians to include TWs and fabrication requirements to the workshop drawings.
- Coordinate activities with Precast Technicians for a double quality check of the workshop drawings.
You will have:
- Experience with reinforced concrete/Prestressed concrete structural analysis and design.
- Ability to conduct Strut and Tie structural analysis.
- Background in reinforced concrete/Prestressed concrete detailing
- Masters in Structural Engineering/Bridge Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural Engineering.
