Finance Manager Melton Mowbray Full Time, PermanentSF Recruitment are working with a brilliant client of ours based in Melton Mowbray in their search for a Finance Manager to join the business on a full time, permanent basis. The role reports directly into a supportive Finance Director & will play a significant part in the organisations Financial operations. The ideal Finance Manager will be AAT Qualified or QBE and have experience within a similar position, working experience of Sage & be a strong Excel user. As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:- Assist the Finance director in the preparation of monthly management accounts including prepayment, accrual, journal posting, and balance sheet reconciliations. - Provide Support to the finance director in various budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Manage Debtors Control account by making sure contracts and jobs Sales invoices reconciled against the accounting system and sales invoicing system. - Work closely with service, maintenance, project, procurement, and IT team to integrate financial systems with operational systems and provide training and support to other staff members on the use of systems and tools to streamline processes. - Manage and maintain systems, including accounting software, stock management systems, and other relevant platforms to improve efficiency and accuracy. Troubleshoot technical issues related to various systems and coordinate with IT support for resolution. - Track and Maintain stock valuation between accounting system and stock management system. - Cover other finance functions in the absence of team member including sales and purchase posting, credit card posting, supplier payments and bank reconciliation.
