An experienced Liability Claims Specialist is required to join a Global Loss Adjusters where you will be part of the Liability Field Adjusting Team who manage Liability Claims varying from minor slips/trips through to third party catastrophic losses.
- The role will be home-based, remote working with regular regional travel to attend site investigations.
- As an experienced Liability Claims Handler you will be provided with full training and support to progress into a Field Adjusting role as part of a long-term development career plan.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling and settling EL/PL and Third-Party Property and some Products Liability claims ranging between £20k-£50k and in excess of. Mainly cradle to grave.
- Process claims thoroughly liaising with all relevant parties involved.
- Attend site visits establishing liability, gathering evidence, negotiating settlements.
- Communicate with other areas of the business such as Property M&CL and Legal as and when required.
- Work to SLA’S and KPI’s
Aboutyou:
- Proven ability to manage technical, complex EL/PL and Third-Party Property Liability Claims cradle to grave, Products Liability Claims experience advantageous from a desk -based
- Experience of writing investigation reports
- Experience working within the Loss Adjusting or Insurance Industry.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good Insurance Market experience.
- Good negotiation skills - for arranging appointments as and when required, alternative accommodation and being able to relay vital information on settlements.
- Industry qualifications, ideally CILA or LLB or working towards or has a keenness to work towards.
- Excellent IT skills being able to utilise multiple systems.
- Full clean driving licence.
