We've teamed up with a Housing Association based in Merthyr that's on the lookout for a Surveyor with a background delivering reactive repairs.

#Key Responsibilities:

As their new Maintenance Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting properties, supporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with legislation, best practices, and company policies. You'll work closely with tenants and other stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to ensure effective maintenance.
  • Produce detailed specifications of works addressing repair and maintenance needs.
  • Oversee the quality delivery of contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage specific projects to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
  • Address customer problems and concerns, providing solutions and support.
  • Support the line Manager and represent them in their absence.
  • Investigate repair requests/complaints and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Attend and conduct meetings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other staff to deploy resources effectively for repair and maintenance priorities.
  • Maintain and deliver performance management systems as required.

Your Profile:

  • Experience in planning and managing day-to-day inspections and producing specifications of works.
  • Skilled in estimating the scope, cost, and duration of works, and monitoring relevant budgets.
  • Proven experience working with tenants, the public, and other customers daily.
  • Track record of delivering, developing, and managing customer-driven services.
  • Experience managing responsive and maintenance works on residential properties.
