A great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a major Highways scheme in South Wales. Our client is the Tier 1 contractor on a 500million project, consisting of 18kms of new highway including multiple RC structures, retaining walls and utility diversions. Be part of a high-profile project and work with a driven and supportive commercial team in delivering works and managing subcontractors.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will:

Assist in the tender process for subcontractors and prepare associated documentation
Be involved in valuations of subcontractor variations
Prepare monthly cost and value reports

Our client requires an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with:

Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying
Previous experience of working for a Civil Engineering/Construction contractor
Strong commercial awareness and acumen
Sound knowledge of contractual relationships and contract law

Salary/Benefits:

Up to 34,000
6,500 car allowance
33 days holiday (includes bank holidays)
6% company pension scheme
