Hays are currently working with an academy in Mexborough, part of a large trust across the whole of Yorkshire to recruit for a KS2 teacher to work to improve reading and writing provision across all years. The Trust has many academies, including primary, secondary and colleges across the region, supported by a head office team. The academy is 2-form entry, from early years to year 6. You will be working with Hays, alongside a dedicated group of educators to improve the lives of children within the local areaYour new roleYou will be working across all Key stages to improve reading and writing provision within the school as well as providing PPA cover across all subjects within the school. You will be working full time until at least the end of the school term with the potential for this role to become a permanent role from September. What you'll need to succeedIt is essential you have experience working in a school and are confident in your delivery to Key Stage 2 pupils. It is important you can tailor the individual needs of the students in various year groups, working both independently and collaboratively with other class teachers to promote consistent and targeted interventions. The most successful candidates will take a nurturing and caring approach within a vibrant school community and be dedicated to the educational development of each individual student.To register with Hays, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. To register as a teacher, you must meet the below core criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have a PGCE and QTS.
