Savanna staff Solutions are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our new client who specialises in carpet and flooring distribution in Chessington KT9 postcode. The right candidate will be offered ongoing work throughout the year with a possibility of a perm placement if preferred

Your daily Class 2 driver duties will be as follows:

• Pre and Post vehicle checks
• Delivery flooring mostly on pallets, bt some rolls of carpet and underlay
• Use of Carpet wheels and or pallet truck - unloading of goods into customers premises
• Liaison with client - excellent customer facing skills are a must

This is a physical role with the unloading of flooring involved using pallet truck and tail lift into clients premisis.  A usual day is 9/10 hours 

All Class 2 driver applicants must have right to live and work in the UK prior to applying for work and must have all the following attributes:

• UK Cat C (Class 2 HGV) driving licence minimum 12 months and no more than 6 points for minor offences – No DD’s, IN’s or DR’s
• Current DQC CPC Card and digi card with knowledge of manual entry
• Be physically able to carry large rolls of carpet or flooring
• Good English to communicate over the phone

Payment at £17 per hour via Umbrella pay or LTD company only.  This will be an initial ongoing position with the possibility of going permanent at the end on the table
