You will work within an experienced Group Finance team of 6. The team deals with the preparation and analysis of the Group's, quarterly and annual financial results. As well as with fixed assets, lease accounting, tax, treasury, audit and other group projects. This team is part of a wider finance and procurement team of over 50 people.

In the words of the Group Accountant, who has been with the company for 16 years "We are not just a team, we are a little family". Many of the team have been with the company for a number of years. Staff turnover is low.

You are ACA/ACCA qualified and have a clear understanding of current accounting/technical issues including IFRS.

You will have a wide range of experience in producing monthly management accounts, including full ownership of the balance sheets and support the corporation tax process which will include data preparation. You are confident in producing reports and financial statements for all the companies within the Group, under IFRS and UK GAAP, which you will then present both internally and externally.

You have a sound "hands on" approach are confident in your work, which means you are more than happy to share ideas and provide solutions to any accounting issues that you may come across individually or as a team.
