Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to start their career in quantity surveying within a supportive and forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Help in managing project costs from inception to completion
- Support in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Assist in preparing tender and contract documents
- Help in valuing completed work and arranging for payments
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all legal and quality standards
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the industry
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Previous experience or internships in construction or property development (desirable but not essential)
