Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to start their career in quantity surveying within a supportive and forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects
  • Help in managing project costs from inception to completion
  • Support in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments
  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents
  • Help in valuing completed work and arranging for payments
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and quality standards

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience or internships in construction or property development (desirable but not essential)
