Job Description:Randstad is recruiting a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Pathways Team in Middlesbrough. This full-time permanent role involves working with young people aged 15 to 25 who are preparing to leave care, supporting their transition into adulthood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the needs of young people preparing to leave care.
- Developing and implementing pathway plans to meet these needs.
- Providing advice and guidance in line with the Children Leaving Care Act 2000.
- Ensuring the well-being and safety of young people during their transition to independence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in working with children and young adults in a social care setting.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
