Position Overview:We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support, intervention, and advocacy for children and families in challenging situations. This role involves working closely with children in care, their families, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure their safety, well-being, and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to evaluate the needs and risks of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including counseling, advocacy, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborating with other professionals and agencies, such as schools, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to coordinate services and support for children and families.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and families, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work).
  • Registration with the Social Worker England.
  • Previous experience working with children and families in a social work or related setting.
  • Strong assessment and case management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child welfare and safeguarding.
